Ori Biotech joined more than 3,000 delegates in New Orleans for this year’s ISCT – the world’s largest cell and gene therapy conference. Over four packed days, the Ori team took part in critical conversations around scaling CGT manufacturing and improving patient access.
Wednesday May 7
Jason C. Foster, Ori CEO, moderated a panel on ‘How Next Generation Technologies and Services are Enabling Widespread Patient Access to Cell and Gene Therapies’. He was joined by Alaina Schlinker from Fresenius Kabi, Ali Soleymannezhad from MaxCyte, Taby Ahsan from City of Hope and Nandhu Mohan Sobhana from Volnay Therapeutics for a forward-looking conversation on scaling infrastructure to meet rising demand.

Later that day, we hosted a networking session connecting with peers over refreshments and sharing updates on IRO® and our work to ease manufacturing bottlenecks.

At the Global Showcase Theater, Ori spotlighted how the IRO® platform accelerates product development – putting flexibility back in the hands of CGT scientists.
Friday May 9
To close out the week, Jason co-chaired a panel on ‘CGT Industry Trends: Using Market and Financing Insights to Avoid Commercial Failure ’ with Ingrid Gafanhao from Redwheel. They were joined by Sanjay Srivastava from Accenture, Joseph Thome from TD Cowen and Angela Vollstedt from Novartis for a candid discussion on how companies can align manufacturing, financing, and market realities to avoid common pitfalls in commercialisation.
