Global CDMO’s Princeton facility will become a Center of Excellence for the IRO® platform, pairing advanced manufacturing technology with its development and manufacturing capabilities
Tampa, FL and LONDON, UK, October 6, 2026 – Oribiotech Ltd. (Ori), a leader in cell and gene therapy (CGT) manufacturing technology, today announced that Catalent, the leader in enabling the development and supply of better treatments for patients worldwide, has joined Ori’s Preferred Partner Network (PPN).
Catalent supports cell therapy programs from process development through clinical and commercial supply, including autologous and allogeneic therapies, and provides integrated analytical and supply chain services. As a PPN member, Catalent’s Princeton, New Jersey facility will become a new Center of Excellence for the IRO® platform to support autologous cell therapy process development and GMP manufacturing for its clients. The collaboration provides therapy developers access to the IRO platform that recently received the FDA’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) designation.
“Catalent brings the scale, technical expertise and commercial track record that therapy developers need as autologous cell therapies move toward broader patient access. By partnering with leading CDMOs like Catalent, Ori is helping developers access flexible, best-of-breed technology to shorten time to clinic and reduce comparability risk,” said Jason C. Foster, CEO, Ori Biotech.
As a PPN member, Catalent will gain preferred access to Ori innovations, including the IRO platform, which has demonstrated the ability to increase throughput, reduce cost of goods (COGs) and accelerate development timelines. IRO integrates efficiently with other best-in-breed upstream and downstream technologies, thereby providing a streamlined, closed workflow to help achieve optimal clinical and commercial success.
“We’re pleased to join Ori’s Preferred Partner Network. At Catalent, we recognize the need for advanced manufacturing technologies to help deliver commercially viable CGT 2.0 therapies. Autologous, ex vivo cell therapy continues to deliver incredible science, and automated, closed platforms like IRO will be critical to making that science reproducible, scalable and accessible to more patients,” said John Tomtishen, Global Head of Cell Therapy Field Application Scientists and Strategic Alliances, Catalent.
Ori’s partnership with Catalent follows Ori’s recent announcement of a strategic collaboration to integrate IRO into a commercially available autologous cell therapy valued at up to $120M over 10 years. Link to the September 15 release.
Ori will continue to expand its PPN globally to ensure therapy developers have access to both best-in-class technology and service partners in the U.S. and internationally, helping the next generation of CGTs realize their full clinical and commercial potential.
