Bruce is a world-renowned expert in CGT and is the Immediate Past President of the International Society of Cell and Gene Therapy (June 2020 – May 2022). He developed the very first FDA-approved CAR-T cell therapy in his role as Professor of Cancer Gene Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
